Nov. 9 – Mini THR and Cupless; Las Vegas, US

This course is only intended for surgeons who are currently performing KYON THR or have completed the basic THR course.

Since 1999, the Zürich Cementless Total Hip Replacement* System has been advancing what is considered state-of-the-art in veterinary joint replacement. The current, 5th generation KYON Zürich THR system reflects truly novel approaches to addressing the most common complications of canine total hip replacement: aseptic loosening, infection, breakage, and wear.

The mini Zürich THR system brings the features and performance of the standard system to patients between ~9 and 15 kilograms, e.g. Cocker Spaniel, Beagle, Tibetan Terrier.

The Cupless* Partial Hip Replacement system entered early clinical use in 2011, has been used successfully as a revision strategy and for complex cases. Clinical outcomes are meeting the expectations of early adopters.

Upon registration, online training materials will be made available. It is essential that course participants review and study these materials prior to the course.

The program will introduce the implant and instrument systems, surgical technique, clinical development and experience. Each attendee will perform both a mini THR and a cupless PHR on a cadaver specimen. Following each lab, instructors and attendees will review and discuss the cases.

We hope you will join us for this exceptional training experience.
