website_squares_tta-2-2.021.021

This is a full-day laboratory designed to teach the TTA-2 technique for the treatment of cranial cruciate deficiency in dogs. The course covers the biomechanical basis of TTA, demonstrating how repositioning the patellar ligament 90° to the common tangent at the tibial plateau will eliminate cranial tibial shear. The course includes preoperative planning with exercises using both digital and film, detailed surgical technique, an exercise with plastic bones that creates a model for participants to take as an example to show clients. Participants will also participate in a cadaver lab to reinforce the surgical technique. Presentations will include clinical experience from the surgical faculty and a summary of the clinical performance of the technique.

Lunch is included. 9 CE Hours. Purchase required. Capacity: 24. Price: $825.
